Darren's been fixing cars since before some of our customers could drive.
Darren McMahon started Rapid Auto Repair in 2003 with one bay and 34 years of automotive knowledge. Today it's Goulburn's largest workshop — 13 staff, 100+ vehicles a week, and the only operator in the region that combines towing and full mechanical repair under one roof.
We service everything from daily drivers to caravans, EVs to light commercial vehicles. And we're the official NRMA roadside operator for Goulburn.

Respectful, prompt, compassionate service.
My car broke down on a long drive the day before Australia day, about 30 kms from Goulburn. The team was happy to receive my car, in spite of the upcoming public holiday. They said they may not be able to fix it same-day, but would do their best. They put an extra man on the job to have it up and running by end of business, so I could finish the journey home. They were professional and respectful, checked that I was ok with prices before doing any work, and answered my questions helpfully. I am very grateful and would recommend!
